The Fiesta Rice Blend is a good hearty rice blend with dried veggies that will really make a great side dish with chicken, beef, pork…. anything!
It is a delicious combination of White Parboiled Rice, Southwest Orzo, Died Tomatoes, Dried Porchini, Shiitake & Bolete Mushrooms, and Pepits (roasted/salted).
Cooking Instructions: Using an 8 quart pan, bring 2 ½ cups of water to a boil. Add 1 1/3 cups of rice and 1 tablespoon of butter. Cover. Turn heat to simmer for 24 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit 15 minutes.
